Recording Daily Care

Daily Care records are important information that show what care and support a care provider gives to its Service Users. The records explain what the Person does each day, how healthy they are, and any important things that happen. These records help make sure the care is good, keeps things running smoothly, and follows the rules.

Should you have access to the Mobile App, you should use this record Daily Care. It important you complete the Using the Mobile App for Residential Care eLearning module to discover how to use the app.

You should enquire with your Account Manager if you do not have access to the eLearning.

Daily Care recording screens are accessed in the following way:

  1. Open a Person record in the usual way.
  2. Select Menu > Daily Care.

Each Daily Care record has the following common fields: 

  • Linked Activities Of Daily Living (ADL) / Domain of Need: Allowing records to be grouped on the ADL for reports. 
  • Handover section: Setting the fields in this section to Yes and recording a comment will display this record in the Handover tab in the Care Plan as well as a central location: People > People > Handovers.
