Using Care Cloud Mobile App for Domiciliary Care

The Care Cloud Mobile App for Domiciliary Care delivers a solution for managing care activities for people being cared for at their homes.

When you log into the Care Cloud Mobile App as a Domiciliary Care Provider user, you can see your Diary Bookings for the current day, by default, and are able scroll through previous / next days to view bookings in the past or in the future (up to a certain number of days).

Note: All data must be prepared in the web app beforehand - you cannot create or modify bookings in the mobile app.

To view your bookings as a Domiciliary Care Provider:

  1. Log in to the app. On the main screen, you can see all your bookings for the current day.
  2. Tap the arrows in the upper-right corner to navigate between days.
  3. Each booking in the schedule will display the client’s picture, name, type of booking, status and planned start and end time.

Accessing a booking

  1. Tap a booking to view more information about the client booking.
  2. At the top of the screen, you can see more client details, the booking start and end time, and the number of tasks.
  3. If you tap the Information drop-down, you will see the client's address, information about additional staff attending, and any warnings.
  1. Near the address, tap the Navigate button.
  2. The default map application will be open (usually Google Maps). Use this app to navigate to the booking address.

Start the visit

  1. Tap the Start the visit button at the bottom of the screen.
  2. If required, allow access to your location (go to Settings on your device).
  3. Details of the visit can be provided on the next screen displayed (see below sections for details).
Regular Care Tasks

Regular Care Tasks must be planned beforehand via the web app. You can place a checkmark against tasks which have been completed during the visit.

Additional Care Tasks

To add Additional Care Tasks during the visit:

  1. Tap the Add Care Task button and select one or more tasks from the list.
  2. Tap the Add Task(s) button.
  3. Selected tasks are added to the list. Place a checkmark against tasks which have been completed.
Daily Care Item

To add a Daily Care Item during the visit:

  1. Tap the Add Daily Care Item button.
  2. Select Daily Record as the Care Item type.
  1. Write the Notes for the visit.
  1. Under Activities of Daily Living (ADL), tap the Select Activities button and select one or more activities from the list, then tap Confirm Activity(s).
  1. Indicate whether to Include in Next Handover and whether to Flag Record for Handover.
  2. Tap Save and Mark as Done to confirm the new Person Daily Record.
  3. The new record is displayed in the Daily Care Item records list.
Problem And Notes

Any issues can be logged in the Problems And Notes section.

Attachments

A photo can be added as an attachment to the visit record.

  1. Tap the New Attachment button.
  2. Confirm the Terms and Conditions. The following screen is displayed:
  1. Provide a Title for the attachment and add some Notes (optional)
  2. Under Capture attachment, tap the camera icon to take a photo or tap the picture icon to select a photo you've already taken and stored in the phone.
  3. Tap Save. The attachment file is added to the record.

End visit

  1. When all the tasks are done, finish the visit by tapping the End visit button at the bottom of the screen.
  2. The following screen is displayed:
