The Capacity Planning business module must be enabled and included in your licensing.

The following covers the Capacity Planning section of the Scheduling Setup. It has four sub sections:

Colours

You can set the range of colours from Very Critical to Very High.

Bounds

  • Critical Lower Bound: The shortfall in staff numbers that marks the lower bound of the Critical capacity range.
  • Minimum Lower Bound: The excess in staff numbers that marks the lower bound of the Minimum capacity range.
  • Moderate Lower Bound: The excess in staff numbers that marks the lower bound of the Moderate capacity range.
  • High Lower Bound: The excess in staff numbers that marks the lower bound of the High capacity range.
  • Very High Lower Bound: The excess in staff numbers that marks the lower bound of the Very High capacity range.
  • Very Critical Upper Bound: The shortfall in staff numbers that marks the upper bound of the Very Critical capacity range.
  • Critical Upper Bound: The shortfall in staff numbers that marks the upper bound of the Critical capacity range.
  • Minimum Upper Bound: The excess in staff numbers that marks the upper bound of the Minimum capacity range.
  • Moderate Upper Bound: The excess in staff numbers that marks the upper bound of the Moderate capacity range.
  • High Upper Bound: The excess in staff numbers that marks the upper bound of the High capacity range.

Capacity Planning Default BTC

The Capacity Planning Default BTC defines the default filter which determines the default view of Capacity Planning wall-chart.

Time Block

The Time Block Duration is the duration of each time block in the Capacity Planning screens.
