Managing Diary Bookings

To edit an existing booking, select the booking slot from the grid in the Provider Diary. The 'Edit Booking' dialog displays and it is possible to modify the booking. Each booking will be revalidated when Save Changes is selected.

It is also possible to drag the entire booking to a different time slot, as well as dragging the start and end of a booking to edit the times. Although only times are being edited using this functionality, all other details are revalidated.

Staff

The Staff tab will display booking cost details provided the pre-requisite information has been set up in the system. It will also contain Timings of the booking which displays the Planned Booking Time and Actual Start and End Date/Time.

History 

Once a Schedule booking is created, the History tab is present for each booking. For every edit made to the booking, the History tab reflects the previous and current values.

Delete Booking

To delete a booking, you must have the Delete Booking Diary security profile. If you don't have access, the Delete Booking button is not present.

Depending on the system configuration, a Reason For Delete may be mandatory (see the Booking Deletion Reasons article for more information). A deletion Comment is optional.
