New Features

Forms in Mobile App

We're excited to announce the latest update to our Mobile App, bringing enhanced functionality to support your daily operations: Person and Care Plan Forms. These forms are now available in the Mobile App for online use, streamlining your workflow and reducing paperwork.

To make a Form available in the Mobile App go to Settings > Forms Management >Documents. Open the relevant Document and then set “Available In Mobile” to ‘Yes’.

You can also control which Sections and Questions per Section that will show the Mobile App. To do this select the Section or Question and set “Available In Mobile” to ‘Yes’.

This allows you to for example have some Questions which the user will complete in the Mobile App and then some which will be completed the Web App within the same Form.

Each Question has a Question Type assigned to it, such as ‘Text’, ‘Yes/No’, ‘Picklist’, ‘Signature’, ‘Canvas etc. Not all these Question Types are available in the Mobile App, so when adding a Question to a Document if  “Available In Mobile” is set to ‘Yes’ then only the allowed Questions will be shown, based on their Question Type.

As part of this release all Documents have had "Available In Mobile” set to ‘No’ and any Question which are not currently allowed in the mobile app have also had "Available In Mobile” set to ‘No’.

The Forms can be found in the Mobile App under a new Tab named ‘Forms’.  On selection of this there is then a choice between Care Plan Forms (those directly related to a Care Plan) and Person Forms (not linked to particular Care Plan).  Each Form has two views , one for Questions and Answers and one for the Status and Dates (accessed via the Pen icon) information.  Where a Form has multiple sections these are shown at the top of the screen and the relevant question under each one when selected.  Example of this are shown below:

The current Question Types available for Mobile are:

  1. Short Answer
  2. Paragraph/Explanation
  3. Date
  4. Time
  5. Yes/No
  6. Numeric
  7. Decimal
  8. Picklist
  9. Text

To enable the Forms in the Mobile App please contact the Support Team to have the "Mobile Assessments" Business Module enabled.

* Further development plans are outlined at the end of this document

Signature for Care Plans

Care Plans can now be signed electronically, ensuring timely and secure documentation. Therefore, as a Carer, you can now sign Care Plans to confirm agreement, providing a clear audit trail and evidence for CQC inspections.

Users that are of 'Rostered User' type, can only add and not delete. For 'Roasters User' they can also be given permission to delete if the 'Can Delete Signature' security profile is added to their user account.

Updates

Mobile App Performance

For Point of Care offline sync: Continued improvements on offline capabilities of the Mobile App, specifically for care workers or carers who may need to access or input data while working in various locations with potentially limited internet connectivity.
