Setting up the Address Gazetteer

To use postcode-based address lookup (via the Address Gazetteer Business Module), you'll need to buy and configure an API key in your system settings.

You can purchase the API key from our partner organisation, Loqate, using the link below.

  1. Once you have registered an account, you will receive a 'Welcome' email with your account code in the format of: AAAAA11111.
  2. Send the code your Loqate account manager: Cabbar Bagdagi (cabbar.bagdagi@gbgplc.com).
  3. Login to Loqate.
  4. Add your address and billing information for invoicing via Menu > Your account.
Please note this is a chargeable service managed by Loqate. You should let your Loqate account manager know and they can raise the invoice for you then authorise the credits to be used in a live environment. Alternatively you can add a credit card to your account and enable your top ups to be automated for when you run out of credit. All queries relating to billing (pricing and credit pack purchases) should be directed at Loqate and not OneAdvanced.
  1. Go to Add service and select API Key.
  1. Make a note of the API Key.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Configuration > System Management.
  3. Select System Settings.
  4. Enter the API Key into the Gazetteer.Platform_PAF.SearchServiceApiKey System Setting.
