Schedule Availability

An Applicant's availability to work can be specified in the system. Their work schedule availability is determined by the following:

  • Available contract schedule
  • Available transportation schedule (with mode(s) of transportation to be used)

The Schedule Availability feature enables creation of the weekly contract schedule availability for the Applicant.

The Schedule availability feature is available in the context of the Role Application. The Applicant must have at least one active Role Application to set schedule availability.

To access an Applicant's availability:

  1. Navigate to Staff > Staff > Applicants.
  2. Open the Applicant record.
  3. Select the Availability tab.
  4. Select the Click to create contract availability option on a day in the calendar to create availability for the contract.

  1. The 'Create Availability' dialog is displayed. Select the type of Schedule Availability.

There are two out-of-the-box values, they are Standard and Overtime. These can be edited in Settings > Care Provider Setup > Availability Types.

The selected availability is visualised in the calendar as a bar. The default period is from 9am to 5am.

  1. To adjust the time, select and drag the ends of the coloured bar to change the start and end times.
  2. If required, select + to add another Schedule Availability for the day.
The Schedule Availability cannot overlap.
  1. Add a schedule for each day of the week as required.
  2. Select the Save or Save and Close button.
