Release Version: 6.4.25

Release Dates Information: 

Customer familiarisation: 3rd March

Release 6.4.25 is scheduled to be applied to your UAT environment on 3rd of March. This will give you the opportunity to test and familiarise yourself with the new functionalities before the live release.

Available in Live Date: 10th March

Release 6.4.25 is scheduled to be applied to the Live environment on the 10th of March.

Summary

Areas of focus: Care Recording, Rostering & scheduling, Finance & Payroll and Mobile App.

Enhancements: Improvements across the Mobile Application and Web with focus on Care Reporting and Rostering

Features: We've focused on Multiped People Bookings in the Mobile App, Commissioned Hours by Booking Type Information, Offering Extra Bookings to Carers, Detailed Staff Pay Preview Information and a New Billing Area per Person.

Updates: New way to share your valuable feedback about our product. We want to hear about the pain points, challenges, and difficulties you're facing, and understand the tasks or journeys that are currently difficult, inefficient, or impossible.

Defects resolved: Various defects across different areas have been resolved, with a particular focus on addressing issues in the Payroll and Billing area.

Enhancements & Features

Care Recording

The 'Care Reviews' area of the system has undergone several enhancements, including:

1 - The introduction of a new "Regular Care Name" field, "Care Note" field

2 - A "Goals and Aspirations" field added to the Care Plan,

3 - A Contingency Care Plan that can be associated with each Care Plan.

4 - New field has been added to indicate whether a note pertains to a best interest decision.

"Regular Care Name" field

The "Regular Care Name" field has been introduced to display edited Regular Care Names from the Regular Care Plan.

For instance, if you've set up an activity like "Play Chess" and linked it to the "Activities" category, the updated name will be reflected in this field.

The Care Plan, Regular Care Name and ADL can now be used to filter the data:

"Care Note" field

The "Care Note" field is now available at a summary level and can be utilised in Advanced Search and Widgets.

NOTE:

The 'Care Plan' and 'Regular Care Names' fields have been added to all Daily Care Records as optional fields, automatically populating based on the Regular Care Plan.

"Goals and Aspirations" field

A "Goals and Aspirations" field has been added to the Care Plan, enabling more comprehensive care planning.

Contingency Care Plan enhancement

A Contingency Care Plan is now available and can be associated with each individual Care Plan, providing an additional layer of care coordination.

Best Interest Decision field

A new "Is this note regarding a best interest decision?" field with Yes/No options is now available in the 'Daily Record' and 'Keyworker Notes' sections of both the Web and Mobile App.

Rostering

Commissioned Hours Information when Rostering

The Commissioned Hours information per Person Contract can now be controlled at Contract Level or at Booking Type Level. To control at Booking Type Level set the 'Commissioned Hours By Booking Type ' system setting to True.

Each Person Contract will then have the option to add a Commissioned Hours target per Booking Type:

These are then shown on the Person Diary to add the Planning of Care:

New "On Call" Booking Type

A new option has been added to identify Booking Types as being an 'On Call' booking. This has no impact currently but will be used in a future release to calculate National Minimum Wage Top Ups

Mobile Application

App Name Update

The Mobile App has been updated from "Care Cloud" to "Care Business Management", as part of our Product rebranding. This will be applied as part of the normal App update in the App Store.

Offer Bookings

If the Offer Bookings feature is turned on a new home screen will appear to users and Booking Offers can be viewed by the user, read the full guide here:

Shared Accommodation Bookings in the Mobile App

Bookings suitable for shared accommodation, such as Supported Living Locations are now available in the Mobile App, read the full guide here

Booking To Location (BTC1) Digital Clock In

Booking Types linked to the 'Booking to Location' Booking Class (typically used for Residential Care Home Visits) now have Start Visit and End Visit options which record the Start and End times for the Mobile App user attending the booking (often referred to as digital clocking in and out which can be used in place of Hardware options for a physical clock in).

When recording Care which has been linked to a Care Plan the “How to Help with Desired Outcomes” Field from the related Care Plan now shows on the Care Record.

Mobile Performance and Data Usage

Continued optimization of the data used in the Mobile App and the Performance of the offline data sync.

Finance

New Invoice Template

A new version of the Invoices Template has been added “Care Provider Finance Invoice Generic Template 3” giving additional levels of detail to the transaction records.

Staff Pay Preview Information

An enhanced Pay Preview is now available, providing a more detailed review of information before extracting records:

Billing Area per Cared For Person

The new Billing Tab on the Person record shows the Person Contract , Related Person Contract Service, Related Invoice Batches and the Related Invoice in one easy to use dynamic screen.

The Person Billing Business Module is required to be on for this screen:

Pay Reductions via Expenses

A Reduction to Pay can now be made via an ad-hoc expenses

Set the Expense Type “Is a Pay reduction” to Yes and then Negative Numbers will be allowed for that Expense. Negative Defaults can also be added.

Contract Scheme Parent Look Up

The Contract Scheme Look up on the Person Contract has been updated to also show related Contract Schemes from the Parent Provider record.

Resolved an issue where the Heigh and Weight Loss calculation was not behaving as expected. The calculation will now consider all records in the last 6 months rather than 3-6 months and the unexpected browser behaviour has been resolved.
