Feature Updates

Pathways Feature

This feature is off by default but can be turned on. This feature requires customer configuration before being used.

Pathways define a dynamic set of information emerging from the assessment process. This allows staff to see the relevant tasks and workflows to do their jobs. Pathways allow managers and supervisors to clearly see their customer base is within the statutory process. You have the ability to create a variety of reports capturing information regarding who is on a pathway, at what stage, and the length time spent in a task, stage, or pathway.

New Mail Merge for Timesheet Templates / Rota

Two new Mail Merge Templates have been added for Providers to produce future Timesheet and Rotas for Staff members to fill in.

These can be accessed by going to Workplace > My Work> Providers > Select Provider via first checkbox > Select Mail Merge Feature in the toolbar > Select the Mail Merge Template - as shown below:

Select the options you would like and then clicking ok will produce a PDF export as per the example belows:

Both of these Mail Merges share the same System Settings which control the Starting Day of the Week , Day of the Month and the number of days to produce the template for into the future:

File Destruction for Documents 

The File Destruction feature has been extended to include Document storage in integrated storage solutions such as Azure and SharePoint. 

Additional Widgets Per Dashboard 

The maxim number of widgets per dashboard has been extended from 12 to 14. 

Advanced Filter 

Where an Advanced filter is available the quick search has now been removed, as user can user the advanced filter instead and this is having clearer options on what the filter is doing. 

New Local System Admin Role

A new Local System Admin Role Type has been added to System Users. This works the same as a full System Admin role but instead of always being a a member of all teams and being able to see all teams and their members the local system admin can only access the Teams which a System Admin has given them access to. The Local System Admin can further change which of these Teams they are accessing per session using the change team visibility feature.

Person Absence Updates

When a Person Absence is created with an End Date and Time, bookings will now only be created when the selected Contract(s) are enabled for scheduled bookings.

An 'inactive' field has been added to Person Absence. When set to 'Yes', any associated bookings are removed from the Diary.

Duration fields have been added to Person Absence. When a Person Absence is created for one person with more than one Person Contract, bookings are created for each Contract. Tracking duration on a specific absence will enable correct monitoring of a Person’s absences across all their contracts.

An option has been added to de-allocate staff from Scheduled Bookings when an absence is entered with no end date. This allows staff members to be allocated to other scheduled bookings while the Person remains absent.

New 'Local System Administrator' System User Employee type

A new 'Local System Administrator' System User 'Employee type' has been added. This User has the same privileges as a System Administrator however they only have access to the Teams they are members of (whereas the System Administrator always has access to all Teams regardless of Team membership).

Mobile Application

A mobile application for Care Cloud has been released. This is available via the app store on both Android and iOS and offers a mobile solution for the main Care Cloud product, focussed on recording point of care delivery in both domiciliary and residential settings. More information will be available soon.
