Removing an Open-ended Absence

To delete an Open-ended Absence:

  1. Navigate to Menu > Employment > Absences.
  2. Select the Absence record in the list.
  3. Select the Delete selected record(s) button on the toolbar.

  1. Select the OK button to confirm.

If it's not possible to delete Open-ended Absence, you can make it inactive instead. This will have implications on any diary bookings that have been created for this absence.

  1. Navigate to the Open-ended Absence.
  2. Open the Absence record from the list.
  3. Change the Inactive setting to Yes.

A 'Care Cloud' dialog will appear to confirm that all related Bookings will be removed:

  1. Select the OK button to confirm.
