Configuring the Pathway Setup

The Pathway Setup allows you to create and label the Pathway, create the stages the Pathway will follow and assign tasks to the stages. You can specify when a Pathway will be available for use and end the Pathway when it is no longer needed.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Configuration > Pathway Setup. The 'Pathway Setup' page is displayed:
  1. Select the Create new record button on the toolbar. The 'Pathway Setup: New' page is displayed:

  1. Complete the following fields, mandatory fields are marked with a red asterisk *.
  • Name - the name given to the Pathway’s overall process.
  • Start Date - the date the pathway is to be available for use.
  • Starting Point Business Object - specify the type of record in which the Pathway will be available. The following options are available:
    • Person
    • Provider
    • System Users
  • Responsible Team - specify which team is responsible for the Pathway.
  • End Date - specify the date the Pathway will no longer be available for the end-user to add to a record.

  1. Select the Save button on the toolbar.



Configuring Pathway Stage Setup

Pathway Stages allow you to group the Pathway Tasks, making it easier for the end-user to work through the process and complete the tasks in the specified timeline.

The following fields are available (mandatory fields are marked with *):

  • Name - the name assigned to the Pathway Stage.
  • Order - the order in which the Stage will be displayed within the Pathway.
  • Pathway - the Pathway to be assigned to the Stage.
  • Responsible Team - the team responsible for the Stage.
  • Inactive - indicate whether the Pathway Stage is inactive or not. An inactive Stage will not be displayed within the Pathway.



Configuring Pathway Task Card Setup

Use the Pathway Task Card Setup to add the task to the various stages. Once you have completed this for all stages, the pathways will be ready for the end-user.

The following fields are available (mandatory fields are marked with *):

  • Stage - select the Stage to be assigned to the Task.
  • Task - select a task from the Pathway Task Catalogue. The Task MUST have been created in the Pathway Task Catalogue to be available to select in the Pathway Task Card Setup record.
  • Order - the order in which to complete the Task in the Stage.
  • Responsible Team - the Team responsible for the Task.
  • Inactive - indicate whether the Pathway Task is inactive or not. An inactive Task will not be displayed within the Stage.
  • Due in Days - specify how many days from the start of the Stage by which the Task needs to be completed.
  • Due in Business Week/Calendar Week - specify whether the Due in Days count is done by business week or calendar week.

    • Calendar Week
