Adding Rooms to Sub Locations

Once a Sub Location has been created, Rooms can be added to it in the following way:

  1. Open the Sub Location record.
  2. Select the Rooms tab.

The 'Rooms' sub-page is displayed:

  1. Select the Create new record button on the toolbar. The 'Room: New' page is displayed.
  2. Complete the fields on the page, mandatory fields are marked with a red asterisk *.

Field

Description

Name*

Enter a name for the room.

Provider

This will be pre-populated with the Provider you are adding the Sub Location / Room combination for.

Sub Location*

This will be pre-populated with the Sub Location are adding the Room combination for.

Entry Point*

The following options are available to select from:

  • Bottom
  • Left
  • Right
  • Top

Bed Banding

Custom bed banding may be used in your organisation. For example, rooms and beds might be banded by a premium or budget category.

Type*

The following options are available to select from:

  • Single Occupancy
  • Multiple Occupancy

Description

Enter a description for the room.

Row*

Enter the row position in the Sub Location / Room combination.

Order*

Enter the order position in the Sub Location / Room combination.

Applicable Gender Type

Select a value if there is an gender restriction for the room.

The following options are available to select from:

  • Male
  • Female
  • No Gender Required

Age Restriction

Select Yes if there is an age restriction for the room.

From Age*

Appears when Age Restriction = Yes.

To Age*

Appears when Age Restriction = Yes.

Responsible Team*

The team responsible for managing the Sub Location / Room.

  1. Select the Save button on the toolbar.

Two tab will appear:

  • Beds
  • Bed Allocations
