Enable and Disable Business Modules

Business Modules are the different components that make up Care Cloud. There are many Modules that are enabled out-of-the-box which cannot be switch on or off. But in some cases, System Administrators have the option to switch off modules they no longer require. An example of a Business Module that a customer would not be able to control would be one where a specific license is required before use or that is for a different Care/Health setting.


Business Modules

Business Modules can be managed by System Administrators in the following way:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Configuration > Customizations.

The 'Customizations' page is displayed:

  1. Select the Modules option.

The 'Business Modules' page is displayed:

  1. Use the checkboxes to turn the module on/off.
Some options will be greyed out. These are usually minimum components required to ensure Care Cloud functions. If you're still unsure, please reach out to the Service Desk.
  1. Select the Save button on the toolbar to finish.


Refresh Business Objects

After changes have been made to Business Modules, the associated Business Objects must be 'Published' in the System for it to take effect.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Configuration > Customizations.

The 'Customizations' page is displayed:

  1. Select the Business Objects option.
  2. Select the Publish Metadata button on the toolbar.
