Employment Contracts Configuration

This article covers the configuration required for creating Staff Employment Contracts.

Care Worker Contracts

The following Reference Data needs to be configured by below steps

  1. Navigate to Settings > Configuration > Reference Data.

The 'Reference Data' page is displayed:

  1. Use the chevron to expand Care Worker Contracts.

Care Provider Staff Role Types

Role Types for job roles to which Employment Contracts will be linked are configured here. Each Role Types requires a Name, Start Date, and an indicator as to whether the Role Type will deliver care or not (this affects Care Scheduling functionality). Role Types can also be attached to Role Type Groups.



Employment Contract Types

Categorisation of the type of contract (e.g. Voluntary, Salaried, Hourly, etc.)

The following Contract Types are available out-of-the-box:

Contract End Reasons

Reasoning for ending of the contract (e.g. Dismissed, Resignation, etc.)

Reasoning for suspending the contract (e.g. Medical Suspension).

Users creating Employment Contracts will require the following Security Profiles:

  • CW Care Worker Contract (Team Edit)
  • CW System User Employment Contract ( Field Edit)
    • Required for interactions with the Work At field for secondary working Teams
  • CW System User Employment Contract ( Field View)
    • Required for interactions with the Work At field for secondary working Teams
