Minor Release Notification v6.4.25.1

A minor release is scheduled for test sites on 25 March and will be deployed to live sites on 27 March from 02:00.

Improvements for British Summer Time (BST) Clock Change

This release addresses the handling of the upcoming clock change on 29 March, when clocks will spring forward from 1am to 2am, resulting in no valid time slot between 1am and 2am.

To mitigate potential issues, two key changes have been implemented:

Enhanced Validation:

An updated validation message will be displayed when creating Diary Bookings with start or end dates falling within the invalid hour (1am-2am on 29 March).

Configurable Booking Adjustment:

A new setting ("Automatically Apply BST" - must be set 'True' to be enabled) allows control over whether the system automatically adjusts the length of bookings that span the missing hour. If enabled, invoice and pay records will have an hour deducted. These changes aim to improve the overall handling of the BST clock change and minimize potential disruptions.

Incorrect Commuting Mileage Calculations

When there are back to back bookings for the same staff member and client combination, the commuting from mileage is being incorrectly calculated - this has been resolved.

Security Check

As part of the upcoming release, a security check will be performed to ensure all customers which are using the CBM internal verification method have Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enabled. If MFA is not currently enabled, it will be automatically activated.

Important Note

This change does not affect customers who use Advanced Identity and/or Azure AD, as they already have MFA in place through alternative methods.
